Who is Nique Lynn?
Monique Williams aka Nique Lynn is a professional braider who took a childhood pastime and turned it into a flourishing business! At the tender age of 10 years old she learned how to braid and even then, her skill was far past her time!
She continued to braid throughout highschool but as indecisive teenagers can be, she decided to take on the “corporate world”. Little did she know, that what she considered a break from passion work was nothing less than a setup for a comeback!
Her career in Human Services taught her how to deal with the general public. In addition to that, her position at Genpact contributed to her business savvy. Two of the most compelling skills needed to be a successful stylist, were being instilled preparing her for the return of her first love, braiding hair!
After going through a heartbreaking life experience, Monique was reminded of a prophecy regarding cosmetology and entrepreneurial anointing that was given to her some years ago and she decided life is too short to not do what you LOVE! With the encouragement of her dear husband, she decided to enroll in Jolie Academy Cosmetology School! The rest is “HERSTORY!”
Now licensed in cosmetology, Monique plans to continue walking in her gift and further her education to educate others as a Braid Business Coach!
